WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR LESSONS?

Lessons are taught at my wife's and my home. We live at 427 Erickson Ct. Elburn, IL. Lessons are taught in my music studio. Of course, parents of students are always welcome to sit in on lessons or wait in the comforts of our home.

DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS?

I have a master's degree in Elementary Education from Aurora University. Previously, I studied guitar at Northern Illinois University on a scholarship earned through my musical talent. In addition to my qualifications, I have been teaching music professionally for over a decade.

I have also worked in local elementary schools. My last position was as a 5th Grade Teacher, at Ferson Creek Elementary, in Saint Charles, IL.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR TEACHING SERVICES?

Half hour lessons are $25. 45 minute lessons are $37. Hour lessons are $50. These are competitive rates, and are in fact cheaper than some surrounding studios

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU OVER ANOTHER STUDIO?

My time teaching as a 5th Grade Teacher has taught me numerous skills few guitar teachers in the area possess. I have a keen understanding of not just what to teach, but HOW to teach a child. I have extensive training in all the modern methods to best facilitate a child's acquisition of new knowledge. I also have background experience in educating children with a variety of learning needs and styles.

I pride myself on my abilities and skills in getting students to quickly and effectively learn to play music! I am always empathetic with my students, and find countless ways to motivate and encourage them. I do this by getting to know their personal learning habits, and what specifically works best for them!
