"Joe is a very special kind of teacher. It didn't take long before I realized that. Joe has so much information to share about the instrument. It was tough to wait a full week before my next lesson with him. He always pushed me to take my guitar playing to the next level. He encouraged me to get into the jazz band at my school and to participate in various music programs throughout the summer. Joe exposed me to the different kinds of music out there, and he taught me how to play them correctly. He inspired me to become a guitar teacher, which I ended up doing after a few years of taking lessons with him. Now I'm teaching guitar and writing/performing songs with my band, while getting the opportunity to play with huge acts such as Chon, Issues, and The Color Morale.
